Dana Law offers five corporate entertainment formats — Comedy Magic Experience, Mind to Mind, Family & Multigenerational Show, Strolling Close-Up Magic, and Sand Reading — each suited to a different kind of event, from a general session stage show to a table-to-table reception experience.

Not every corporate event calls for the same kind of entertainment. A general session opener, a client reception, and a team offsite each have different goals, room setups, and audience expectations. Here's how to think about which format fits your event.

Comedy Magic Experience

A stage-based show blending humor and magic, built to hold a room's attention from a stage or focal point. This format works well as a headline entertainment slot, a general session opener, or a dedicated entertainment segment where the audience is seated and facing a single performance area.

Mind to Mind

A mentalism performance built around mind-reading and prediction. This format tends to feel sharper and more intellectually engaging than traditional magic, which makes it a strong fit for events where the goal is to feel memorable and distinctive, such as a leadership event, an executive retreat, or an event where the entertainment itself becomes a talking point afterward.

Family & Multigenerational Show

Built for company events where employees bring their families, such as a company picnic or a holiday event with kids in attendance. This format blends broad, all-ages appeal with a professional level of polish, so it still fits a company-branded event rather than feeling like a standalone children's show.

Strolling Close-Up Magic

Table-to-table magic performed while guests mingle, rather than a seated show. This format works especially well during a cocktail hour, a networking reception, or any event where guests are standing and circulating rather than seated facing a stage. It gives every table or small group a personal moment with the performance, rather than everyone watching the same thing from a distance.

Sand Reading

A distinctive, conversation-starting performance format well suited to receptions and networking events. Like strolling magic, it works as guests circulate, but it offers a different kind of experience, one that tends to draw guests in and spark conversation around the performance itself.

Combining Formats

These formats aren't mutually exclusive. A common approach is pairing a stage-based format (Comedy Magic Experience or Mind to Mind) with strolling entertainment (Strolling Close-Up Magic or Sand Reading) during a reception before or after the main show, giving an event both a headline moment and an ongoing, mingling-friendly presence throughout.
