Book corporate entertainment at least 4 to 6 weeks in advance, and further out for larger events, peak conference season, or dates that involve coordinating with a venue or event planner. Corporate bookings generally require more lead time than a private party, since they often involve additional logistics like proposals, contracts, and venue coordination. Corporate event planning tends to move on a longer timeline than a private party, and entertainment booking should follow

Corporate magic and mentalism work for audiences ranging from an intimate executive group of a dozen people to a large general session of several hundred, though the right format depends heavily on the size and layout of the group. Stage-based formats scale well for larger audiences, while strolling formats are better suited to smaller, more mingling-oriented groups. One of the most common questions event planners ask is whether a magic show will actually work for their speci

Book a birthday magician at least 2 weeks in advance. Popular dates and time slots fill up faster than that, so booking earlier gives you the best chance of getting the exact date and time you want for your child's party. Timing is one of the most common questions parents have when planning a birthday party, and it's easy to underestimate how quickly good dates fill up — especially during peak birthday-party seasons. Why 2 Weeks Is the Minimum, Not the Ideal Two weeks out is

Amazing Dana tailors every birthday magic show to the age of the audience, from preschool-age children through tweens, teens, and adults — so there isn't one "right" age for a magic show. The right fit depends on choosing the show format and package that matches the age group at the party. Parents often wonder whether a magician is really the right entertainment for a specific age group — a magic show for a room of 4-year-olds looks very different from one for a 10-year-old's

A birthday magician holds a group of kids' attention together, at the same time, for a sustained stretch of the party — something DIY activity stations (like a craft table, face painting, or a bounce house) generally can't do on their own, since kids drift between stations independently rather than sharing one experience together. DIY activity stations have become a popular trend for birthday parties — a craft table here, a face-painting station there, maybe a bounce house in

This summer of 2026, San Diego County libraries are embracing the theme Plant a Seed , encouraging children to grow their imagination and knowledge just like a seed grows into a flourishing plant.
